Very impressive - great detail. Fun checking out each individual bit, too, and wondering what's being set up for later.

And a great sense of humour to the text as well. More!

That is unbelieveably awesome. Seriously. I love it. Even 'Who docks the Dockmen?' as a bit of dreadful graffiti (although really, Jom. Can't you go one day without thinking about docking?) The inking is amazing, and I'm not quite sure how you managed it because I can't ink to save my sorry life.

I absolutely adore the massive poster of Helen with the censored face, I laughed out loud for a full five minutes. The architectural details are superb.

Only one tiny niggle, and that's the Roman-not-Greek references ('basilica' instead of 'agora' and the paper called the 'Tribune'), but I'm assuming there are Reasons and I just need to shut the crap up and be patient.

I am eagerly awaiting the next bit, though. This is an extremely good teaser trailer.

Cheers, you've just given me a brilliant idea - all will become clear.

As for the inking - a combination of pens, a paintbrush, a pot of india ink, the words are a bit of a cheat in that they're printed and cut out (the font is Comic Book, available for download from a webiste near you), and some visual reference in the form of an inked picture of Batman (see: http://tonydaniel.blogspot.com/ - who is doing the current run of the pointed eared nutter with Marmite Morrisson).

Yes, this is really good, Jom. I always really appreciate the detail in your drawings - in this case, his coat. And the censored face is a great idea - makes the culture something that really interests me. I didn't like his shoes, though - they're right by the writing, so you notice them, and there doesn't seem to be as much detail as the rest. And I really like it when the title is included in the picture!

It's great - very well drawn, and the story's really interesting so far - good proper potentially pulpy sci fi, in a good way!! :-)

That is a fantastic piece of work. I love the texturing.

I'm intrigued by the world being set up- a bit of classical greek reference and I'm hooked right in.

I would also be amazed by your ability to exactly recreate comic-script font, except you've spoilt the secret of your uncannily neat hand-writing. Shame. You could've conned me with it for longer than they conned me about the Easter Bunny.
