EDIT: Here is something I did during the week as an experiment (in coming up with a style for a kids book)
It's rough around the edges because each individual colour is a separate scanned in drawing. That and I was doing it pressed against the window.

I'm pretty sure I had a nightmare that looked much like this once. But it's awesome! I love it. I'm particularly fond of the details on the building, especially the pipe. And the tone, as ever, is fairly magnificent.
Like the conservative use of colours in both.
The first feels reminiscent of those wartime cartoons, with loads of busy line work. I love that style. And the colours add to the period feel of it.
Second one's funny, since it feels like you're spreading your wings a bit - we're still squarely in Millywiggz World, but a rarely explored part of it, with pretty birds in bright(er) colours. Great stuff.
